Dans une d\u00e9cision ant\u00e9rieure, le Conseil a approuv\u00e9 le conseil nouvellement form\u00e9.  La question en jeu dans cette d\u00e9cision \u00e9tait de savoir quels employ\u00e9s avaient le droit de faire compter leurs votes dans la demande d'accr\u00e9ditation.  Dans cette affaire, Eventstar Services Inc. (l'\"employeur\") fournit de l'\u00e9quipement et des services pour les foires commerciales et les \u00e9v\u00e9nements sur sc\u00e8ne.  L'employeur emploie r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement des travailleurs de base, mais lorsqu'un \u00e9v\u00e9nement est de grande envergure, il fait appel \u00e0 des travailleurs suppl\u00e9mentaires pour effectuer le travail.  \u00c0 la date de la demande, l'employeur a \u00e9t\u00e9 engag\u00e9 pour fournir un soutien \u00e0 l'un des plus grands \u00e9v\u00e9nements, ce qui a entra\u00een\u00e9 l'embauche d'un grand nombre d'employ\u00e9s occasionnels en plus des employ\u00e9s que l'employeur d\u00e9signe comme ses employ\u00e9s r\u00e9guliers ou principaux.<\/p><p>L'employeur a fait valoir que seules les personnes qui sont des employ\u00e9s \"de base\" employ\u00e9s r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement par l'employeur devraient \u00eatre autoris\u00e9es \u00e0 voter.  La C.R.T.F.C. a qualifi\u00e9 la relation de l'employeur avec tous ses employ\u00e9s de temporaire, \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 qu'aucun d'entre eux ne travaillait sur une base r\u00e9guli\u00e8re.  Par cons\u00e9quent, la CRTFP a jug\u00e9 que tous les employ\u00e9s employ\u00e9s \u00e0 la date de la demande et au cours de la p\u00e9riode de 90 jours pr\u00e9c\u00e9dant la date de la demande avaient le droit de voter.<\/p><p>En outre, l'employeur a cherch\u00e9 \u00e0 inclure des bulletins de vote qui, selon lui, avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 post\u00e9s \u00e0 la CRTFP mais n'\u00e9taient pas parvenus \u00e0 la CRTFP \u00e0 temps pour le vote, voire pas du tout.  La commission n'a pas autoris\u00e9 l'inclusion de ces bulletins, estimant qu'une fois que la carte de vote est correctement post\u00e9e \u00e0 l'\u00e9lecteur, il incombe \u00e0 ce dernier de veiller \u00e0 ce qu'elle soit re\u00e7ue \u00e0 temps.<\/p><p>Le scrutin de repr\u00e9sentation a eu lieu et les sections locales 118 et 891 l'ont emport\u00e9 par 27 voix contre 8.
