Ceux-ci \u00e9num\u00e8rent de fa\u00e7on d\u00e9taill\u00e9e la position et les arguments de l\u2019AIEST pour des modifications techniques au projet de loi. Il semble qu\u2019un consensus pourrait se former quant \u00e0 certains des amendements que nous avons propos\u00e9s et nous esp\u00e9rons que le comit\u00e9 l\u00e9gislatif publiera un rapport favorable. La possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019une \u00e9lection f\u00e9d\u00e9rale est maintenant le plus grand obstacle auquel nous faisons face. Tous les principaux partis politiques menacent de demander la dissolution du Parlement et forcer le d\u00e9clenchement des \u00e9lections. Dans de telles circonstances, le projet de loi C-32 expirera au Feuilleton.<\/p>\n<p>Le vol des produits sur support num\u00e9rique est une pr\u00e9occupation majeure pour l\u2019AIEST qui continue d'exercer des pressions dans le but de prot\u00e9ger les emplois dans le secteur du divertissement. Selon une r\u00e9cente \u00e9tude effectu\u00e9e par Ipsos et Oxford Economics et intitul\u00e9e \u00ab Economic Consequences of Movie Piracy \u2013 Canada \u00bb, le piratage de films a fait perdre plus de 1,8 milliard de dollars et l\u2019\u00e9quivalent de 12 600 emplois \u00e0 temps plein dans l\u2019ensemble de l\u2019\u00e9conomie canadienne en 2009-10.
