M. Boulerice a parl\u00e9 pendant deux heures, soit tout le temps dont il dispose selon les r\u00e8gles de comit\u00e9s de la Chambre, et il a r\u00e9examin\u00e9, article par article, ce projet de loi et les modifications qui y sont propos\u00e9es. Il reste encore un processus par lequel des amendements pourraient \u00eatre introduits, mais M. Boulerice a d\u00e9fendu vivement les droits des travailleuses et travailleurs, et John Lewis, le vice-pr\u00e9sident international, n\u2019a pas tard\u00e9 \u00e0 lui envoyer une lettre le remerciant de ses efforts.<\/p>\n<p>Le NPD a aussi soulev\u00e9 la question des couts associ\u00e9s au projet de loi C-377, puisque celui-ci cr\u00e9erait des d\u00e9penses additionnelles pour le gouvernement. Notons qu\u2019un projet de loi priv\u00e9 ne peut pas imposer de couts au gouvernement. Le NPD affirmera donc que le projet de loi C-377 devrait \u00eatre jug\u00e9 irrecevable par le pr\u00e9sident de la Chambre. Si le gouvernement veut continuer \u00e0 appuyer C-377, il devra obtenir un d\u00e9cret en conseil pour d\u00e9bloquer des fonds pour payer la facture.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 l\u2019heure actuelle, ce projet de loi discriminatoire n\u2019est pas mort. Rappelons, \u00e0 titre d\u2019exemple, que C-377 permettrait entre autres de publier les noms de tous les membres qui feraient un retrait de plus de 5000 $ de leur fonds REER.
