L'IATSE repr\u00e9sente les travailleurs de l'animation par l'interm\u00e9diaire de la Guilde canadienne de l'animation, section locale 938 de l'IATSE.<\/p><p>\"Notre objectif premier est de veiller \u00e0 ce que les travailleurs licenci\u00e9s par Tangent re\u00e7oivent les indemnit\u00e9s de d\u00e9part pr\u00e9vues par la loi\", a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 John Lewis, vice-pr\u00e9sident international et directeur des affaires canadiennes de l'IATSE. \"Les travailleurs de l'animation doivent souvent n\u00e9gocier par eux-m\u00eames et n'ont souvent pas acc\u00e8s \u00e0 un conseiller juridique. Notre \u00e9quipe juridique aidera les travailleurs \u00e0 s'assurer qu'ils sont trait\u00e9s \u00e9quitablement.\"<\/p><p>Ce n'est pas la premi\u00e8re fois que l'IATSE fournit un soutien juridique gratuit aux travailleurs. Lorsque MPC Vancouver a annonc\u00e9 sa fermeture en d\u00e9cembre 2019, quelques semaines avant les vacances, l'IATSE a fourni un soutien juridique gratuit \u00e0 ces travailleurs \u00e9galement. La fourniture de ce soutien fait partie de la campagne permanente de l'IATSE visant \u00e0 fournir une repr\u00e9sentation syndicale aux travailleurs de l'animation au Canada.<\/p><p>\"Les travailleurs de l'animation au Canada ont besoin d'une repr\u00e9sentation syndicale\", a poursuivi M.
