Le 28 ao\u00fbt, DNEG, un studio d'effets visuels et d'animation qui a remport\u00e9 sept Oscars, a annonc\u00e9 qu'il imposerait d'importants changements de personnel au cours des prochaines semaines. L'industrie cin\u00e9matographique est en difficult\u00e9 depuis les gr\u00e8ves des acteurs et des sc\u00e9naristes de l'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re. Cette situation, associ\u00e9e \u00e0 la r\u00e9duction du cr\u00e9dit d'imp\u00f4t au Qu\u00e9bec, \u00e9quivaut \u00e0 donner un coup de pied \u00e0 une industrie d\u00e9j\u00e0 en difficult\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En tant que syndicat repr\u00e9sentant de nombreux travailleurs-euses, l'AIEST critique le manque de consultation des diff\u00e9rents groupes de l'industrie, ainsi que la rapidit\u00e9 avec laquelle le nouveau r\u00e9gime a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en place. \u00ab Je trouve choquant le fait que le gouvernement du Qu\u00e9bec, qui a toujours soutenu les arts et les travailleurs artistiques, ne consulte pas l'industrie avant de proc\u00e9der \u00e0 un changement aussi important \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 John Lewis, directeur des affaires canadiennes de l'AIEST. \u00ab Les cons\u00e9quences ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9vastatrices pour la province. Nous t\u00e9moignons \u00e0 une h\u00e9morragie \u00e9conomique et de talents.
