Depuis plus d'un si\u00e8cle, le Canada et les \u00c9tats-Unis se tiennent c\u00f4te \u00e0 c\u00f4te et prosp\u00e8rent. Bien qu'il existe des diff\u00e9rences distinctes, les deux pays partagent beaucoup en termes de valeurs et de culture, ainsi que la plus longue fronti\u00e8re non d\u00e9fendue du monde. Nous appr\u00e9cions \u00e9galement tous deux une bonne blague, et bien que les commentaires du pr\u00e9sident Trump sur le fait de faire du Canada \u00ab le 51e \u00c9tat \u00bb aient pu commencer de cette mani\u00e8re, la blague est all\u00e9e trop loin.<\/p>

Comme les Am\u00e9ricains, les Canadiens ont un sens aigu du patriotisme, de la fiert\u00e9 et de l'amour du pays. Supposer que la majorit\u00e9 des Canadiens renonceraient volontiers \u00e0 leur citoyennet\u00e9 et \u00e0 leur souverainet\u00e9 n'est pas seulement faux, c'est irrespectueux. Le manque de respect et les dissensions entre deux des plus anciens alli\u00e9s du monde n'ont pas lieu d'\u00eatre et n'ont aucune raison d'\u00eatre.<\/p>

Par le biais d'accords, d'alliances et de partenariats, les \u00c9tats-Unis et le Canada ont toujours travaill\u00e9 ensemble dans l'int\u00e9r\u00eat des deux nations. Ce qui est vrai dans le mouvement syndical l'est \u00e9galement ici : lorsque nous nous respectons mutuellement, que nous travaillons ensemble et que nous nous alignons sur les questions communes, nous sommes plus forts.<\/p>
