HAMILTON, ON – On March 13, 2015, the Ontario Labour Relations Board certified IATSE Local 129 as the bargaining agent for all employees working at FFP Laser Systems in the province of Ontario. FFP Lasers is a Staging Production Company specializing in Pyrotechnics and Laser Systems.
The representation vote was held on March 3 and all employees unanimously voted in favour of representation by the local. On March 13, the Labour Board issued the certification. The new IATSE Local 129 members are looking forward to beginning negotiations for their first collective agreement.
