Certain Employees of the Pacific Opera Victoria and the Pacific Opera v. Local 168 [2001] B.C.L.R.B.D. No. 344 (BC Labour Relations Board)

Third of three decisions.  Application for partial decertification of administrative employees.  The local objected arguing that the administrative employees shared a community of interest with the production employees and that the impact on the employees wishing to stay in the bargaining unit outweighed the wishes of the administrative employees wishing to leave it.  The Board found that the impact of the partial decertification on the employees remaining in the bargaining unit would be insignificant and granted the application for partial decertification.
