Gary Stamford v. International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts of the United States and Canada, Local No. 118 (BCLRB No. B136/2012)

This Application under section 151 of Labour Relations Code alleged that the Union failed to disclose financial statements to its member Gary Stamford.  Stamford sought to be provided with 2009 and 2010 audited financial statements and access to all financial records used in the preparation of those statements.  The Board dismissed the Application on the basis that Stamford had already been provided with the 2009 and 2010 audited financials.  The Board declined to grant him access to all of the records used in preparation of those statements as it is not required by the Code.
