Local 118 v. Vogue Theatre Inc. [2004] B.C.L.R.B.D. No. 393 (BC Labour Relations Board)

Third of four decisions.  A group of employees applied for standing in the local’s application to certify technical employees.  The group argued that it would not be fair to allow the local to certify the technical employees on their own after the “all employees” bargaining unit had been decertified.  The Board declined to grant standing to the group of employees.  The group’s interests would not be affected in a direct or legally material way by the outcome of the proceedings.
