Local 58 v. Canadian Opera Co. [1999] O.L.R.D. No. 2742 (Ontario Labour Relations Board)

After the local withdrew an application for certification upon considering that a vote would not be successful, the employer argued that a bar should be imposed.  The Board declined to impose a bar, particularly since the local had saved the Board and the employer the expense and effort of running to the end of the exercise.
