Local 822 v. Corporation of Massey Hall and Roy Thompson Hall [2003] O.L.R.D. No. 485 (Ontario Labour Relations Board)

Application for certification (First of two decisions).  The local had previously been found to be a trade union within the meaning of the Act.  The parties had reached an agreement regarding the bargaining unit description.  Having regard to the agreement between the parties, the Board directed that a representation vote be taken of the individuals in the following voting constituency: “all wardrobe employees employed by The Corporation of Massey Hall and Roy Thompson Hall in the City of Toronto, save and except Assistant Production Manager and persons above that rank.”
