The IATSE Local 514 and 667 opposed the intervention of the AQPM (Quebec producers’ association) in an application for recognition (certification) from the DGC in raiding the recognition of the AQTIS for the Locations department in sector 2 (Major American studios). For its part, the AQTIS opposed Netflix’s intervention in the case. The TAT dismisses the AQPM’s request to intervene since it does not represent a single producer in sector 2. The TAT also rejects Netflix’s request to intervene solely because, at the time covered by the application (before 2020), it did not have any production in Quebec’s sector 2.
