With the assistance of the International, Local 63 Winnipeg concluded bargaining a first collective agreement with the recently certified StageLite Manitoba Ltd., a lighting and sound rental shop.
The new agreement covers all shop employees and technician work. Highlights include annual 3% increases, effective January 1, 2004, as well as mandatory overtime with shop and/or technician work, minimum rest periods, travel time and lay-off procedures.
