IATSE, Local 849 v. Egg Films – August 14, 2015 (N.S.L.B.)

This decision concerns three motions for production.  The Labour Board advised that it would provide written reasons at a later date and instead issued a bottom line decision.

The Board dismissed Egg Films’ motion for an order directing access to parts of the Board’s file that contains internal notes, memoranda, correspondence or emails between Board staff and members.

The Board granted the Union’s motion for an order requiring Egg Films to produce documents itemized in the Union’s request for production including but not limited to copies of contracts for, invoices and call sheets for productions over $10,000 and copies of its audited financial statements.

The Board dismissed Egg Films request for production of documents in its letter dated July 10, 2015.

The Board notes the Parties agreement that all documents relied upon by the Parties shall be delivered to each other before the close of business day on August 21, 2015.
