TAT decision granting a motion to summarily reject filed by the AQTIS (now Local 514 IATSE) against a member’s complaint for breach of the duty of fair representation under article 47.2 of the Quebec Labour Code. The TAT rules that artists under the Quebec Status of the artist Act do not have a recourse for breach of the duty of fair representation against their artists association similar to the one existing under the Quebec Labour Code. The TAT has no jurisdiction to hear this type of complaint.
